If YOUR Phoeby Ann and MY Phoeby Ann are one in the same, (and I think they are), her father was James Walter Plogger and her mother was Nora Mae Smith, and she was my mother's sister. She was one of 14 children and - if we are kin (and I think we are) - there are thousands of relatives! She married Andrew Lee Phillips on 21 December 1932 in Lexington, Virginia. They had 3 children, Jerry Lee, Linda Ann and Willie Ray (who has passed away). Phoeby passed away in January 1983 and Andrew passed away July 5 1999. They are both buried in Sunset Memorial Park in South Charleston, West Virginia, where they lived most of their married life.

We have a relative in Tennessee whom I have helped develope a Plogger genealogy book with over 700 pages - complete with pictures. His e-mail address is jimplogger@bellsouth.net and if you have further questions - please e-mail him, and being the generous man that he is - he will be more than glad to answer any questions you may have.

Happy Hunting,
Rosie
