Dear Gladys,
Thank you for contacting me. Yes, I am very interested in any information I can find about Matilda Caroline Plott and William Tell Kerby her husband. I have obtained a lot of info about Matilda, I know most of her family lineage, it is her husband that is the problem I can find no pictures of them or their children or any mention of his parents. I do know they had four children and all about their families or at least some of it. William Tell and Matilda were my husband great grand parents. Their oldest son Augustus Wilburn and his wife, Barbara Lou Keyes was his grand parents. I was hoping perhaps some of the Plott family would have photos or papers of some kind pertaining to Matilda and
Williams life. I know he received land grants from the government, that he was in the Home Guard during the Civil War, and donated land for the college in Young Harris, but nothing about his family back ground. He was born in North Carolina but I have no idea what county or town. I believe Pricilla Kerby Bryson, Bailey Kerby's daughter, was his cousin because that is who he stayed with when he came to Ga. from N.C. I would appreciate any info you might have.
Sincerely,
Corrine Kerby
