If Luc Plourde had Indian blood it was probably through his mother, Sophie Francoeur. When you research Francoeur you have to consider both Leclerc and Francoeur. Also, since the local Indian reservation between Edmundston and St-Basile is Maliseet, it is likely that it could be a common denominator.
