You are very welcome. Speaking from first hand experience, when you try to locate certain records, check out every possible mispellings that you can imagine for surnames (Plourd, Plourde, Ploud, etc.,)and try different first initials. Let the system give you every person with a different middle initial and then sort it out. Unfortunately, the walk in and pay for search system usually prohibits this type of search. Thank goodness for online databases! Both of my parents surnames were mispelled. My mother is a Plourde and they had her first name mispelled also. I have not located one of my sisters marriage certificate because I do not believe that the priest filed it with the state of Maine. The certificates for two of my uncles who were married by the same priest are also missing from the state database.
