Good Luck and remember look for both the French and English versions of the name ie Pierre/Peter, Mary/Marie in some cases LeBlanc/White it all depends on who recorded it. Can make it tricky!
Also there is a second Peter/Pierre that was born about the same time in the same area of Maine, yours Nov 1890 the other I believe was Aug 1894 more than likely a cousin. At one point the other Pierre/Pier was living with a younger brother at his grandparents Solomon and Sophie Martin's I believe in Fort Kent.
When you get to the older actual records many French boys are Joseph _______ and the girls Marie_______ the blank is what you will know them by.
My Brotherin law's father was Joseph Louis "Raymond" Rocheleau and he was called Ray. Louis was grand-dads name.
