Hi Annie! Just re-read my mother's notes and she was convinced that her mother, Elmina, died in Madawaska while caring for or helping a relative. My mom said that she had tried to find Elmina's grave but never succeeded. She was supposed to have died in the winter. Is it possible that her remains were sent to St. Pascal or could this have been said to keep her from the funeral? She was only 3 years old at the time. lilliangourd@yahoo.com
