Thank you very much for your quick response. First, let me say that I am impressed with your knowledge of the Plourde family. However, your data puts me in a quandry. The Plourde descendancy website that I referenced in my message yesterday and Madeleine Plourde in a post above agree that Louis Plourde and Demerise Boucher are the parents of Thomas Plourde. Your data says Louis Plourde and Marcelline Gagnon.

Madeleine references a book Marriages of Aroostook County by Henri Langlois and you have researched documents at St. Luce.

I have a copy of the marriage certificate from St. Luce which lists Louis Plourde and Solomon Martin as witnesses, but doesn't mention either's wife.

I really don't know what to do, obviously my Plourde line prior to Louis will change depending on which Louis was Thomas' father.
