Mark, I don't know if this helps. Most of my relatives are either from Maine or Canada. My great-grandmother (on my dad's side) is Christine Plourde. She married Amie Boucher on December 31, 1916. She had several children (Romeo, Leo, Jean(male), Bernice, Irene and a few others. I do know that all of Amie and Christine's male children are named Joseph. Couples back then used to name all of their sons after the church they were attending. Later on, the sons used their middle names as verification. I believe one of their living locations was Old Town (Aroostook County). I hope this info might help you a little bit.
