Hi I am looking to tie up two different branches of my Plover tree: one is based in Mayo/Roscommon on the east coast of Ireland. Some of these descendants moved across to New York and New Jersey; the other is also based in the Mayo area of Ireland, but we do not have a link between them. The Plovers are reputed to have come from England, and family folklore states that this happened in the mid to late 19th Century. However, we have no proof of this. I have GEDCOM files for anyone who wants to link in with me. This forum should be pretty small. There are a lot of Plovers around, so we should be able to link most people together with some luck. Thanks Steve
