Hi Steve and Patrick,
My name is Gemma Plover and I live in Lancashire, England. I believe i am a descendant of the said John Joseph Plover mentioned in your previous postings.

My family received a newsletter from Mairead Nic Philibin Da Silva regarding the 1996 reunion in Ireland. However, we were unable to attend. Collating the information from Mairead and family members leads me to believe that John Joseph Plover was my great grandfather.

John Joseph Plover married Annie Elizabeth Donlan. she bore 8 children of whom Lawrence John their eldest, was my grandfather. He was born on the 18th Aug 1901 in Altrincham, Cheshire,UK. He died on the 19th April 1978 in Leigh, Lancashire. Unfortunately, he died before i was born.

I have some limited information on Lawrences' brothers and sisters if you require it.

Lawrence married Elizabeth Oldfield on the 19th Dec 1936 in Leigh, Lancashire, UK. They had 3 children Lawrence, Anne and John. John is my father. I have no siblings. Lawrence and Anne both have children, again if you want further details let me know.

Lastly, i do know that my grandfather Lawrence had an aunt called Bridget and i wondered whether you know where that might tie in.

Hope to hear from you soon Gemma
