Plowrights from Swaffham, Norfolk

I am researching the Plowright family who lived in King's Lynn, Norfolk and it appears they came to King's Lynn around the mid-1700's. I have been able to go as far back as William Plowright - b. about 1744, Gaywood, Norfolk; d. 1808, South Lynn; he married Jane Holdgate in 1767 in King's Lynn; they had 9 children together.

What I cannot find are the parents of William Plowright as they were not from King's Lynn but I am wondering if they may have come from Swaffham prior to relocating to King's Lynn.

Does anyone know if the Swaffham Plowrights are connected to the Plowrights of King's Lynn? Any little bit of information would help greatly.

Or does anyone know where the King's Lynn Plowrights came from?

Many thanks.
