Hi, My name is Frank Plue and I live in Toronto Canada. I'm afraid that I don't know a great deal regarding the history of my family. What I can tell you is that my grandfather was a French Canadian and that his first language was French. I have two sons - Gordon, a doctor in a town called Cobourg and Kevin, a Manager for a Life Insurance Co. in St. Catherines. Rumour has it that one of my relatives has traced the family roots in North America to some time in the 1700's. I can not personally verify that. It has always been my understanding that our roots were French. My father's name was Hugh Francis Plue and his father's name was Hugh as well. There appears to have been a rather silly parting of the ways between my father and the rest of the family - thus my lack of detailed knowledge. I hope that this proves somewhat helpful. I would be interested in hearing more as well.
