Hello Leonard:

According to my records, which are largely based on information taken from a book published a few years ago entitled "The Plumlee Family" by Robert D. Plumlee, your ancestry comes from William & Phoebe (Denton) Plumlee. This book is no longer available. I have the two early preliminary versions of the book, but did not know about the final version until last year.

Here is your Plumlee line:
William Plumlee (1728-1826) md Phoebe Denton (1737-????)
John Plumlee (1766-1820) md Elizabeth Neill (1772-1820)
Archibald Plumlee (1794-1879) md Rutha Odle (1801-1881)
Clinton Plumlee (1820-1916) md Nancy Pennington (1827-1908)
George Franklin Plumlee (1854-1928) md Mahalia Amanda Grisham (1854-1932)
Henry Ellis Plumlee (1880-1961) md Minnie Bell Cooper (1884-1974)
George Houston Plumlee (1907-2000) md Clara Brown (????-????)
Leonard D. Plumlee (1937-Living) md Alayne Serafin (????-Living)

Hope this makes sense!

Let me know what you think. If this is your family then I can certainly furnish you a lot more detail.

George Sisco
