New information I have received regarding my Mother's side of the family. My mother Doris Louise Perrin Shelby born June 23, 1921 in Woodbine , Texas married to Jimmy Leroy Shelby on Sept. 26, 1942. Her mother was Hassie Bell Plumlee born Dec 9, 1896 in Moss, Tenn. married Willie Lee Perrin on Feb. 9, 1911 and died Sept. 10, 1977 in Sherman Texas. Hassie's parents were Isaac S. Plumlee (Ike) born Jan 19, 1872 in Clay County TN, married to Florintha Frances Rich (Flint) on Feb 24, 1895, he died on Nov. 24, 1954 in Clay County TN and she died Jan. 7, 1945 in Clay County TN. I believe he also had a 2nd wife by the name of Mary B. Johnson. (??) Isaac's parents were Samuel Plumlee (Red Sam) born Sept. 13, 1834 in Jackson Co. TN, he married Martha Jane Butler , Date I don't know, who was born on April 12, 1840. He died on June 7, 1908 in Clay County TN and she died July 13, 1916 in Clay County TN. Samuel's (Red Sam) parents were John Plumlee born in 1797 in TN, married to Elizabeth Denton who was born in 1798, he died after Aug. 3, 1873 and she died after 1860 in Jackson County TN. John's parents were John Plumlee born 1767 married to Elizabeth Neill. Does anybody have anything to add or change. Curious for more information. Thanks!
