Nancy Arterberry Plumlee in our Photos. Ideas?

Now we've found a photo of Nancy Arterberry Plumlee in all of these old family photos. There's no mistaking her because we also have a copy of the Clay County history book and the images are the same.
Now we have Nancy in family photos, this story of Hunter Ray and Alvin Greenie Plumlee being cousins and we know they're buried next to each other. There's also the family history of Alvin or one of his parents being double cousins with Barton Stone Plumlee or one of his parents.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Could there be a child somewhere who isn't documented?
Our information is clearly doc. back to William F. Plumlee b. 1825 and married first to Permellia Biggerstaff and then to Annie Stone.
Who could this man belong to? Could he be one of those who have been listed in the histories as "nothing more known of."
At this point, I'd probably believe anything.
