Hi Robin I am very interested in your James and Jonathan! I lost them after 1850. btw, Jonathan married Rebecca Doyle in Morgan county in 1855. John married Missouri Parris in Morgan county in 1855 also. He may have died in the Civil War because she was living with her family in Marshall county with a small child in 1860 . It sure looks like the same family! I will make a point to check out Tippah county Ms. I also found a record for service in the Civil War for a Jonathan Plumly in 17th MS inf B Pvt . I will keep you posted with anything I come up with, my email address is
