Hi Folks, just a note to say I found the most amazing thing recently. I do Ebay auctions so spend a lot of time in antique shops and junk stores (grin) I was browsing thru a antique shop near me and just happened to glance up on the top shelf in the back and did a double take. on the side of this old legal box was hand written Z.T. Plumlee! Of course I had to have it! I did a little research and think he must be Zachery Taylor Plumlee b in 1849 He settled in Parker County TX and since I live in Ft Worth it explains how it was in this area. I have not decided if I am going to keep it or list it on Ebay if I decide to list it I will let the group know. It would have been great if it had been my ggreatgrandmother Anney Plumlee Brown or even if I knew how or if she fits in with Zachary's line (sigh!).
