Don't know if anyone has seen this but there is a website where there has been much research posted about the Butler family of Clay and Jackson Counties. Within this research is quite a bit of Plumlee information with the reference to where it was found.
You have to keep scrolling and it takes a while but it's there. There's mention of Kendell Plumlee, William F. Plumlee and a Jane Plumlee who if I read it right was listed as illegitimate. There were a couple of others but I can't remember them all.
