I am very interested in the William Plumley (Post 488) you have who was born 1728. Do you know if he was married several times?
I have a William Plumblee-Plumley who married (1789-I don't have proof of this marriage) Hester O'Neal (b.abt.1790) first and secondly to Phebe Denton--However, my dates don't match with this William Plumley---unless his first or middle name was John Plumley (perhaps named after his father). Can you help me?
I have the Descendants of William Plumley you posted, that's very helpful. I believe that according to your post it was John Plumley who married Elizabeth Neill instead of William (John's father). John Plumblee b. Sept.20, 1790, child of a William Plumblee who married 1)Hester O'Neal, 2)Phebe Denton) married Mary Dugan Murray and they were my Paternal G-G-Grandparents. I just want to make sure I have the right William Plumblee--father of my John Plumblee b.1790. The dates I have for William Plumley is abt.1769 in N.C. I do not know if that's correct though the date for John (his son) would be about 20 years later. The William Plumley you have who married Phoebe Denton is 1728--which would be about 2 more generations???? Anyway, I want to make sure I get this right. Thanks so much for any help.
