Hi George -
I have been reading your postings on GenForum and found a great deal of information on my husband's family. Your Adeline Plumlee and Thomas Jefferson Sims are a direct line to my husband. Thomas' son Jessie Newton Sims married Sarah ?. Their daughter Sylvia married Thomas Jefferson Johnson. Their son Charlie Frankfort Johnson married Golda Moore. Their son Glyndell C is my husband.
I would really enjoy reading what you have on this family line. I have seen a photograph of my father-in-law, his siblings and his parents with grandpa Jesse peaking out from behind one of the children. From the looks of the ages of the children the photo was probably taken not long before Jesse died. My father in law had the headstones of Jesse and Sarah replaced over ten years ago due to the originals disintegrating but the cemetery, Henson's, is typical of the time, down a lane and off to a side. I know no "facts" about those who came before Jesse but an elderly family member told my husband he looks like Jesse. I guess that is why I find him so interesting.
My in-laws moved back into Clay County several years ago and live between Red Boiling Springs and Moss. Unfortunately the trip from Ohio to Tennessee is lengthy and we don't have much time for research when we go for a visit.
I sent an email to your prodigy email address and it was returned. If you would prefer to respond via email I am at firstname.lastname@example.org. Anything you would like to share on the Plumlee/Sims family would be appreciated.
Sally Tobias Johnson
