I am trying to trace back beyond William and Pheobe on the plumlee line. Who was or were the first Plumlee(s) to come over? Years ago I heard a story that three or more Plumlee brothers came over from England together each spelling their last names differently to differentiate between the lines. Any clue from anyone?
