That kind of matches up with what my cousin told me. She really didn't know her mother Helen Mary. So what she knows is what her father told her. Helen left and moved to Ohio as far as I have been told. She married Theodore Stokey at a young age. They had 3 children, Mary Ann and Lewis. I think the third died in infancy. Mary Ann is the cousin I talk to. I don't know the particular reason Helen left. I believe she died in Ohio in the 1980's from what Mary Ann said but that was just what she heard. She never got to talk to her mother I don't think.

Did Joseph live in Illinois?
