I am not aware of anyone finding a Renix in Va in the 1700s yet. One place I would like to check...when Robert Poage appeared Orange Co. to prove his importation, the "Poage" mentions there were a total of 16 heads of family. Renix may have been one of them (I don't know yet and haven't found that record). If so, it may provide a connection with the Poages going back to Northern Ireland, where more might be learned in time.
