Poage's in Missouri Forts, 1812

MICHAEL, ROBERT POAGE and JOSEPH POAGE are listed in the names of settlers at Fort Hempstead, which was located near the Missouri River in Missouri Territory during the War 1812. Does anyone know who these men were? Where they came from? Where they went?

Fort Hempstead, Fort Kinkead and Fort Cooper were the main forts in the area now known as Howard County, with Cooper County and Cole's Fort just across the river.

Thanks for any information.
