Margaret [Terrell] Poage went to California in 1857 when her daughter, Rebecca, who married (2) John Tiffee went back for her and her mother-in-law. They went back with a cattle drive to the Sacramento area where she married John Arnold between 1857 and the 1860 census. She died in Silveyville, Solono Co c1864. Place of burial has not been found nor the death record. I have the descendants of Rebecca and many of the descendants of George/Sarah [Hayden] Poage.
