I've written a book entitled "Abolitionist and Underground Railroad Connections to Members of the Dakota Mission." My ancestors Col. James Poage, Archibald Hopkins, Rev. William Williamson, Rev. James Gilliland and Rev. Dr. Robert G. Wilson all came to Ohio in 1804-1805. Poage and Hopkins were from Kentucky and Williamson, Gilliland and Wilson were from South Carolina. This book is about them and their families and friends who fought against slavery. Their descendants became missionaries to the Dakota Indians. The book has 73 pages and includes pictures. It's for sale at $18.00 which includes mailing. If you're interested please contact me and I will send you my address.
