John Poage, Sr. born 16 May 1826 Ireland, died 16 Feb 1789 Augusta Co VA. Married MARY CRAWFORD 3 Jun 1751 Augusta Co VA daughter of William Crawford and Mary (Douglas). She was born about 1726 in Lancaster Co PA and died 9 Nov 1793 Augusta Co VA. She was a sister of Patrick Crawford.
