Poage Family Book?
Posted by: Sean Poage (ID *****4761) Date: July 03, 2008 at 06:49:57

Hello,
I am trying to trace my family history. My grandfather, Robert Bateman Poage (Capt. US Navy) retired in California. He had shown my father, Robert Bateman Poage Jr. a family book with a lot of family history, including the family coat of arms, which is very similar to the Pollok coat of arms (missing the star in the upper quarter of the shield).

My father doesn't know what happened to that book, but thinks it may be with Poage relatives (whom we haven't met) in Texas. I am interested in reading the book for more information. Does anyone know who might have a copy of the book, or know anything about it?

Thanks!
Sean
