Hi Paul,
I am a decendant of Robert McBride Poag, born 1812, York County, SC. He was a son of Samuel L. Poag Sr, born Nov 1769 in Antrim County, Ireland, came to America around 1787, married Hannah Harriett McBride, b 1774 in Scotland. Samuel and Hannah had 12 children.

My grandmother was Urah Ann Poag, b7Aug1879, Lawrence County, TN, her father was Samuel L. Poag III, b July 1857, Wayne County, TN. He was one of 12 children of Robert McBride Poag and Esther Burgess.
I have more that I will email you direct.

The family historian is Bob Poag, 2404 Chickasaw Drive, Florence, AL 35630. Check with him about the reunion this summer also.
