William Anderson Poage/Pogue

My ancestor says he was born in Missouri in 1821, who were his parents? I find Joseph, Robert and Michael or Mitchell Poage in the early forts in Howard County, MO as soldiers in the war of 1812. The names Robert and John Poage are on a tax list for the same county in 1817. In 1819, Andrew M. and Robert Poage are among the signers of a petition of complaint regarding the handling of land purchases in the area.

William Anderson Pogue/Poage b. 1821 MO m 1843 probably in Cooper Co., Mo to Sarah A. Bolton b 1824 in Bedford Co., TN.
Their children:
Joseph A.
George L.
Robert C.
Rhoda A.
Elizabeth A.
All the children were born in Tennessee. William Pogue and family are in the 1860 census for Henry Co., MO and in the 1870 Cooper Co., MO census. William and Sarah are buried in Cooper County.

Thanks for any assistance
Betty
