Elton:

I would like to start by saying that the grave site of Pocahontas is not lost. She took sick just after sailing for America and was take ashore at Gravesend England where she died. She is buried at St Geroge's Cemetery in Gravesend England. Her tombsotne shows her christian name of Rebecca Rolfe. Her real name is Matoako sut was called Pocahontas by her father which meant "Playful One" or "Little Wanton"One.

The reason for my question is the fact that everyone wants to be a descendant of Pocahotas and many claim that she was married at an early age before she married John Rolfe and that she had an Indian Husband. There are many who claim that Thomas Rolfe had a child by another woman before he married Jane Poythress. I am wondering just how much of this is fact or fiction. To my knowledge there is no positive evidence that there is any other child in the Pocahontas lineage except Jane Rolfe who died shortly after John Bolling was born.
