Randolph Billing Blair and Myers
Posted by: Larry Myers (ID *****9935) Date: May 19, 2010 at 08:18:40

After several years of research at the Versailles Cemetery in Pittsburgh which has connections to Peter Jefferson and Joshua Fry, I am wondering if there is a forth name Myers in the main three names connected to Pocahontas.

I am working from an invoice by Jacob Myers to Thomas Jefferson for seven boats built for General George Rogers Clark to be delivered to Col Benjamin Harrison in Pittsburgh.

Has anyone ever heard of the Myers family being related to Pocahontas. What I find interesting is there seems to be some sort of connection to Randolph Churchill via the Churchill Iron Works in Kentucky.

I do know Peter Jefferson's wife was Ann Randolph and their son was Thomas Jefferson. General Clarks brother was William Clark of the Lewis and Clark Expedition out of Pittsburgh in 1803. I know for sure Willaim Clarks son, Meriwether Lewis Clark, had a close connection to the Churchill's of Randolph Churchill and to General Robert E Lee.
