Since I started this post let me say a few words here. My records do show a Leigh connection. It's based on the Myers family records of Peter Jefferson who was married to Ann Randolph. Although Ann Randolph might not be blood related to Pocahontas, her Randolph family surely would be.

It is Peter Jefferson's 100,000 acre land grant to Queen Alliquippa that has got my attention. Some of the land was connected to Randolph Churchill the father of Winston Churchill. Winston Churchill's daughter actress Sarah Churchill had family in the area of the land grant. Sarah Churchill worked with actress Vivian Leigh.

A Kevin Bacon connection for sure but also another side of the story of the connection to Oliver Cromwell's since it was originally Oliver Cromwell's claimed land that Peter Jefferson was giving away.
