Deena

Like yourself I have no connection with Rolfe or Pocahontas but have found the story of the early colonization a fascinating topic.

your Quote…. I am still awed when I think of getting to see and read some of the original resources written by John ROLFE himself…... end quote

I found you comments very interesting and I would appreciate any help, if you still have your documentation, as to which original sources you were able to see concerning John Rolfe.

your Quote…Pocahontas was the second wife of John ROLFE (after her death, he did not remarry).. end quote.

It is documented that John Rolfe married for a third time to Jane/ Joan and they had a daughter Elizabeth who survived the massacre. Both are mentioned in his will.

Thank you Joyce
