Very interesting about the daughter Dorothy -- we're trying to find support for a story that this Dorothy married a James Renfro, whe was then possibly the father of William Rentfro, whose son Moses was a leader of the Donelson expedition in 1780. I asked for that article at a state library in Virginia, but they didn't come up with it.
