Very Interesting Indeed....

My late ggrandmother, who died in the early 1950s while well into her eighties, had often told the kids that we were all related to Pocahontas.. She said we were 'cousins of some kind' but stuck to the story.

Her maiden name was Victoria Belle McCloud, and she married a Henry Howard in the late 1800s.. As luck would have it, I don't have my notes close at hand, but felt I needed to correspond with you on this matter immediately.

It sure looks like a great many people wish to document a relation here, but I am holding out hope that one day, I can actually find and verify beyond a doubt, some link..

Oh, Victoria as far as I know, was born in or around Honaker Va. and lived there until moving to Pleasant Hill Missouri, late in life...

Please, if you can shed any light on my quest, I'd sure appreciate it!
