There has been a theory that Pocahontas' only son
Thomas ROLFE did not die as early as was previously thought.
This theory had him move to another part of Virginia that would
later become North-Carolina (right up in the northeast section).
The court recorder there would write his O like an E
so that the ROLFE name looked like RELFE.

Thomas ROLFE=RELFE was supposed to have remarried &
had more children. One of them named
Susannah (or Ann ?) RELFE married twice I think:

m1=Thomas PALIN (2 children: Thomas & Mary m=(Mr) ROSS)
m2=William NORRIS (3 children: William & John & Sarah)

No proof exists & I am not too sure of all the details
but am just passing it along for you to follow up on
if you wish to see if your names connect to that line.
