OK

I still see no credentials posted.

I have enough intelligence to sort out my own information and need no help from you experts, self styled or otherwise. I have lived too long and seen too much to accept anything as gospel.

I ask you this..just exactly how do you know for certain that a certificate is correct, a will correct, a birth certificate, a death certificate?
If you were not there to witness the event you are not certain.

Back to square one!

Am I saying Pocahontas was my ancestor? No! But I believe there is a slight chance but not worth arguing about.

As to "famous" ancestors, my first cousin, 3 times removed, was William "Captain Bill" Strong" famous/infamous leader of the Red Strings and well known Breathitt Co., KY feudal leader.....he killed people my dear!

My Mother's side boasts descent from Peter Risser and Elizabeth Hershey...of the PA Hershey's. What do I need of a "little wanton" who probably had very little to do with the Jamestown survival....most likely papa and the tribe were the true heroes!

What's the point? Like you....seeing my name in a forum and looking important.

Leon Slate
