I've seen that about Bermuda 100 but I thought that was Sir Thomas Dale's place. I thought Henricus was where John Rolfe land was -- "across the water" at Varina.
Since you are connected to the Richmond area you really need to go see Henricus, Southeast of Richmond. They have made it into a park, They have a house there for John Rolfe too. This all used to be north of the James River, but by taking a loop out of the River, it end up being on the south side in Chesterfield County.
That is where Pocahontas learned to read and taught John how to grow things better. The park has a lot of special events.
One of the new books out, has research that as a Married couple John and Pocahontas lived on Hog Island which is to the east of Jamestown and on the other side of the river. There also is information that her church was about 10 miles before that, named Benn, but I will have to look that up. I'll try in the next few days to get the name and author of the book. I really enjoyed it and wished it would be in all libraries in US.
