Hi Patsy,
Its been a little while since I posted.
I was Born Sandra Beunie Gann. My father
who married my mother in 1961, Beunie C. Gann
the son of Buford Gann and maie Martha Gammon
he named me.
I went to live with the Gibson family around a
year old, the Gibson's legally became my parents
when I was 3 years old.
I love my father Beunie C. Gann, I talked to him
the first time in 1990. I received a Christmas card
1989. Me and my half brother found each other
that summer or sooner. His name is Beunie also.
I am very proud to be a Gann.
My adopted mother Ruby Ilma Clough Gibson
had a grandmotther Sabra Lloyd. I don't know if
there could be a connection, but it is possible
if your Lloyd's were from Goochland and were
a part of the who could afford to give bond
of $1200 to the Gov. Pleaseant of Virginia.
A Thomas Lloyd went my gg grand mother and gg grand George Gammon and Judith Cochran's bond to marry in Goochland VA.
Last year I went to the Goochland News Eve, for some strange thing they were open, I went in and asked to research marriages license's as far back as they could go, so it was the early 1700's much to my joy. I was able to get their's with Thomas Lloyd's signature on there. How awesome is that. Now Keep in mind there folks are my adopted
family but still very much a part of my tree.
Hope you had a nice Christmas, and please have a Happy New Year. Sincerely, Sandi
