Pocahontas connection
Posted by: Kathleen Frink-Withrow (ID *****1651) Date: July 26, 2009 at 01:56:10

I am looking for other possible descendants of Pocahontas and Kocoum through the lines of Ka-Okee, Christian Pettis, Mary Williams, Catherine Elkins, Susannah Redmond, and Elizabeth Grigsby. I also have a connection to the Patawomeck Indians through William Redmond and a possible connection from James Grigsby who's mother may have been the daughter of Chief Wahanganoche. The lines above are according to traditions, stated to me by the tribel Historian of the Patawomeck. I am hoping to find supporting doc. of any kind. I need to find good evidence of James Grigsby's birth date abt. 1680. Please contact me if you have any info..thanks, Kathy
