I have been working on finding my mother's ancestry. I know her Grandfather was a Podgorski who came from a small town near L'viv in the Ukraine. It was Glacia at the time he left which was the Austrian controlled portion of Poland when Poland wasn't on the map. I have no other information on his origins. I did find that the church in the town had been used as a warehouse during the war I forget if it was WWI or WWII. Seems very little is left of the originial church structure nowdays. I think the records were archived by LDS. I would love to talk further if you are interested. My email address is firstname.lastname@example.org
