Dear Brian,

(m) Stanley (Stanislaw) 4/27/1902 Is beleived that he came to the USA . But not sure.
My father said that one of his father's brother came to stay with them after sending him a letter that he was in cuba and need money to make it to the USA. Joseph sent him 40.00 dollars and he make it to Flushing Michigan where My grandparents had moved after canada. My grand father worked in detroit and canada for the railroad on steam engines. My Father said the brother stayed with them a while and helped them farm. He said that the Brother was very good at making clothes. He had made clothes for the children when he lived with them. then my father said one day after supper they were carring bushels of potatos down in the cellar and the brother fell and broke his arm. He thinks their was a falling out between his father and uncle because the uncle left and they never seen or hurd from him again. My father is one of the oldest children still living and he said he does not remember his uncles name. My dad is 77 Years old His name is Stephen Podulka When My grand father came from poland they changed his name from Podolka to Podulka Because that is how it is pronounced in English their are many storys of People getting their last Names mispelled or the border patrol or ship capt. spelling it like he thinks it sounds.
My family is catholic and alot of the records were found from the catholic church. I am on a search for pictures I know that in canada their was a photogapher at my grandfathers wedding and we do not know all the poeple in the picture. May be their were more pictures taken but they only bought the one.
