Thanks for replying so soon, when I saw that you had posted that first message in Feb. I was worried you had given up on it. Wow, you have been doing this for 25 years. That is amazing. I haven't talked to my grandpa yet to see where his ancestors were from, but when I get a chance I will call him. My dad is Ed Podolak the Chief. And with such a unique name it is a good shot that all us Podolak's are related somehow. the reason I am very interested in learning about all this also is that in my direct family, the namesake is dead. I only have one sister Emily, and my dad has one brother Charlie and a sister Betty. Charlie only had girls, Zara and Geneva (Gigi) and Betty didn't have any children. So, it would be fun to see how many Podolaks are still out there keeping the name alive. That is so great that an ancestor from Czech got a hold of you. How interesting. I am sure that we are all closely related. I think actually that Bill is my grandpa's brother. I feel I have heard his name before, but I could be mistaken.
