There were a limited number of family members by the name of Catherine born around that time.
Of the children of the founding family that arrived in 1733, George Jr. had Catherine born in 1749 and died in old age in West Virginia.
John Peter "Adam" had Catherin born in 1777. No further info.
His younger brother Michael had Elizabeth Catherin born in 1768 and a younger daughter named Mary Catherine born in 1777. Another sister married John Gottfried Riegel and when she died Mary Catherube married him. The family also live in Tulpehocken. You might looked at Books, Thomas Poffenberger for excerpts on the family in case it would be helpful. The book is "From Germany to Antietam, the early history of the Pfaffenberger family, second edition, Xlibris, 2003.
