I do not have a marriage date for John and Mary. I found John and Mary in Iowa in the 1880 census with son Coyle and daughter Lovinia.
In 1920, I found John Robert back in Il. living with son C N and wife Minnie. Could C N be Coyle Neal? Only problem is Coyle was 3 in 1880.
The John living with his widowed mother in 1880, simply had to be George. The Poffenbargers had no problem with naming several sons John with different middle names. I don't know much about George. Only that he was born in 1851 and married an Annie.
Do you know what county Noel was born in?
