The oldest son of Johann Georg Pfaffenberger was killed during the Franch and Indian War but two of his sons, George and Peter survied. George lived in Surgar Grove and Peter in Petersburg. See: From Germany to Antietam, The early history of the Pfaffenberger family by Thomas Poffenberger. Available from Xlibris, 888-795-4274 for from Amazon.com or special order from Borders.
