Pogue/Pollock,, Western PA >IL abt 1850

Loudy/or Londa J. Pogue or Pollock, b. 1788, Maryland (according to census). Name was changed to Pogue prior to his marriage 4 Jul 1824, Greene Co., PA to Rebecca Kirby, (1803/4-1871). They had ten children all b. in Greene Co., PA. Rebecca took the younger children to Woodford Co., IL prior to the 1850 Census, and Loudy stayed in PA. It's possible Loudy had been married prior to 1824, and had other children living in PA. Loudy is also said to have had relatives in the Cincinnati, OH area which he visited prior to his marriage in PA. One of them is said to have convinced him to change the spelling of his name to Pogue (according to family stories).

I have not located the uncles in OH, and have no data on his parents.

Would appreciate any help.
