This Robert Franklin Pogue was my wife's [great] Uncle Bob. She was 10 when she attended his funeral and we have visited his grave, so have not bothered to further document his death. From my book on the Stuart Pogue-Lucinda Acker family:

Robert Franklin Pogue, born 4 Dec 1861,
Pontotoc County, Mississippi, married 7 Dec
1884, in Chickasaw County, Mississippi,
Mary Elizabeth Henderson (the Index to Death
Records, Texas, says Mary Ellen), born 27
Jun 1860, Mississippi, died 24 Jul 1936,
Burnet County, Texas, buried Fairland Cem-
etery, Burnet County, Texas. Known as Aunt
Lizzie.
Robert, known as Uncle Bob, was a farmer,
truck farmer, and blacksmith. He choked on
an apple and died 24 Dec 1936 while visiting
Lillie & Bazil Tucker (page 45) at Lake
Victor, Burnet County, Texas, buried Fairland
Cemetery, Burnet County, Texas.

Uncle Bob was a son of Robert Haynes Pogue (son of Stuart and Lucinda) and Martha Jerusha Abernathy. His children were Dora, John Joe, Zora, and Lillie.
