PJ....there appear to be several men named John Pogue and from Maryland, too, so don't know if your family connects with my husband, Jim Turner's Pogue family or not. Jim's Pogue line ended in the late 1700s with his 3rd great grandmother, Nancy Pogue.
3rd G....NANCY POGUE (b. 1792-NC); m. Benjamin Williams.
4th G....JOHN POGUE (b. 1756-MD); m Nancy E. Wiley
5th G....JOSEPH POGUE (b. 1724-MD); m. Sarah Farmer
We are trying to connect Joseph with JOHN POGUE (b. 1698 in Maryland); m. to Sarah Preble, but have not obtained PROOF as yet. We do have data received from various people via the internet that this is a family connection, and are using the information to further our research. Haven't proven it myself, yet.
Sounds like your connections may be of a later date than ours. E-mail me if you have additional questions. Doyleen firstname.lastname@example.org
